COCCYX:  

It is Dr. Josh in Grand Island, Nebraska, and here at Wilderness Ridge Chiropractic we believe that the body is kind of like the wilderness. Therefore, we are on an adventure to explore each segment of the spine.   

Today’s segment is the coccyx. 

It supplies the neurology to the rectum and anus. 

Consequently, if there is dysfunction in this area it could cause or be associated with hemorrhoids, rectal itching, and tailbone pain. 

And that was our exploration of the coccyx. It is our hope that if we should ever have the opportunity to serve you or someone you know who may be suffering from the conditions discussed today, it would be our honest pleasure to provide compassionate and specific care.
