VERTEBRAL SEGMENT REVIEW:

It is Dr. Josh in Grand Island, Nebraska, and we here at Wilderness Ridge Chiropractic want to thank you for your time and patience as we explored the entire spine. You were all quite the adventures as we navigated each segment discussing the innervation and the possible symptomology associated with each.

We covered twenty-six different bones!! Therefore, we thought we would do a quick review that might help you identify a few of them at home.

There are 24 vertebrae. 7 cerivcals, 12 thoracics, and 6 lumbars. We also covered the sacrum and coccyx as well.

To aide in identifying a few of the bones, beginning in the cervicals:

To find C1 it can be found at the base of your ear, in the small groove of the top of your neck.

C2 is the first bone you feel on the back your neck when you run your fingers off the back of your head.

C7/T1 is the big bump you feel at the base of your neck.

T3 can be found in the middle between the top of your shoulder blades.

T7 is in the middle at the bottom of your shoulder blades.

Finally, L4 can be found midline from the top of your hips.

And that concludes the review. Truly, we appreciate your time and support. There is no question you will be running wild, living free, and exploring any adventure in no time all!! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Thank you,

Dr. Josh
