It is Dr. Josh in Grand Island, Nebraska, and here at Wilderness Ridge Chiropractic we believe that the body is kind of like the wilderness. Therefore, we are on an adventure to explore each segment of the spine.
Today’s segment is T10.
T10 is the 10th vertebrae of the thoracic spine.
It supplies the neurology to the kidneys.
Consequently, if there is dysfunction in this area it could cause or be associated with kidney issues, hardening of the arteries, chronic fatigue, nephritis, and pyelitis.
And that was our exploration of T10. It is our hope that if we should ever have the opportunity to serve you or someone you know who may be suffering from the conditions discussed today, it would be our honest pleasure to provide compassionate and specific care. We covered twenty-six different bones!! Therefore, we thought we would do a quick review that might help you identify a few of them at home!!
Dysfunction of the coccyx could cause or be associated with hemorrhoids, rectal itching, and tailbone pain.
Dysfunction of the sacrum could cause or be associated with sacroiliac conditions, spinal curvatures, and pelvic instability.
Dysfunction of L5 could cause or be associated with circulation issues in the legs, swollen ankles, cold feet, weakness in the legs, leg cramps, and plantar fasciitis.
Dysfunction of L4 could cause or be associated with bladder issues, menstrual problems such as painful or irregular periods, impotency, enuresis, and thigh pain or numbness.
Dysfunction of L3 could cause or be associated with bladder issues, menstrual problems such as painful or irregular periods, impotency, enuresis, and thigh pain or numbness.
Dysfunction of L2 could cause or be associated with cramps, difficult breathing, acidosis, varicose veins, circulation issues, groin and upper thigh pain or tingling.
Dysfunction of L1 could cause or be associated with constipation, colitis, diarrhea, and hernias.
Dysfunction of T12 could cause or be associated with rheumatism, gas pains, certain types of sterility, and joint inflammatory disease.
Dysfunction of T11 could cause or be associated with skin eruptions such as acne, pimples, eczema, and boils.
