L4:  

It is Dr. Josh in Grand Island, Nebraska, and here at Wilderness Ridge Chiropractic we believe that the body is kind of like the wilderness. Therefore, we are on an adventure to explore each segment of the spine.   

Today’s segment is L4. 

L4 is the 4th vertebrae of the lumbar spine. 

It supplies the neurology to the prostate gland, muscles of the lower back, and sciatic nerve. 

Consequently, if there is dysfunction in this area it could cause or be associated with low back pain and numbness, urinary disorders, and weakness in the lower extremities. 

And that was our exploration of L4. It is our hope that if we should ever have the opportunity to serve you or someone you know who may be suffering from the conditions discussed today, it would be our honest pleasure to provide compassionate and specific care.
